My boyfriend and I both have the newer Xbox 360 with 250g hard drive, so we are wanting to combine his with mine and sell his. But everything I read only shows transferring from an external hard drive to an internal so all you do is take the hard drive off. But BOTH of ours have internal hard drives! So how do we do this?

The hard drives in the newer slim XBox's are actually removable so the process is pretty much the same as it was for the old ones. You can either copy your stuff onto a big USB memory stick and then onto your boyfriend's XBox or use a drive transfer cable - either way you'll need to do a License Transfer as well.

If you want to use a transfer cable you can get one from the MS Store for $20 or you might find them cheaper in games stores. Try asking any friends who own XBox's if they have one as a lot of owners have needed one in the past. Instructions on using the cable and License Transfer linked below.

I would say the best thing to do is to license transfer, this should be in your system settings somewhere I think, but basically you can YouTube this too for tutorials, it's easy. It allows you to transfer all of your content to another console, you can only do this once a year now I think, so make sure you get everything you want onto your new console. OR you could just buy a decent USB stick with a good amount of gigs on it and just place the things you need on there then plug the USB into the other console and just place everything on that hard drive!

as long with the aid of fact the narrow has a usb port which im confident it does then particular you are able to flow it with the aid of your flashdrive you basically pass to the memory settings and locate the factor you pick to repeat and that i think of it says tranfer or some thing obtrusive like that and you will tranfer despite you pick which you have stored over
