Big Xbox Live Problem with MSN!?

Ok, I'm 16 years old so when I registered for Xbox Live with my hotmail account so I'm a "child". It's ok I just fixed the family settings to play Mature games and all was right, until I noticed I can't use Windows Messenger. I bought a subscription for 1 year... Does anyone know if I can reset my actual gamertag to create another one with "adult settings" without losing my Xbox Live subscription?? I would be very thankful of your answer. Thanks!

i have the same problem. i just called xbox live support, and they are fixing this as we speak!

What they are fixing is the child's ability to use Windows Messenger. Up until this point, even if a child becomes of age, that account still remains a "child." This will probably continue.



However, they really are working on the Windows Messenger thing. If it's not fixed in a couple of days, I'd say call them or something.
