can you use your own name as xbox live gamer tag ?

i was told that if i use my own personal name as a xbox 360 live gamer tag ...my account may be deleted ... is this true ?

or am i allowed to use my own name as my gamer tag... for e.g. Keith_Dunne

It's possible, but you shouldn't. It's against the Terms of Service and it's not very smart anyway. You have a much higher chance of your account getting stolen if you give out your personal information in your gamertag. By obtaining your real name, one could steal your account and anything associated with it like your yahoo ID since it's the same (not smart either). I could then use this info to find even more private info like your phone number, address, etc. and seeing as you would use that name as your gamertag and yahoo ID, who knows where else you've used it? Online bank account ID? myspace, bebo, facebook? If you have a credit card linked to the gamertag, that can also be stolen and charged hundreds of dollars before you knew it. Knowing just your name, one could find out so much about you. #1 rule of the internet: Don't give out personal information.

the final way i've got found out to make any sort of person call is to have a call (consisting of physician, sir Mr.), an adjective, then a noun (ideally a random animal). ex. Sir ironic seahorse Mr. Silent armadillo basically test around, this could take a on a similar time as yet will finally yield a stable effect. i've got used this gadget for my steam call (SirTipsyWalrus™) and so have maximum of my acquaintances (MrLivelyUnicorn™) (DoctorAbundantNarwhal™)

Ya use your name...if you want to constantly be made fun of. some people are ruthless on x box live. chances are someone might already have that tag. if so, just mess around with your name, try different things like replacing the "i" with a "1", or an "l" . example: KE1TH_DUNNE, or replace "E" with "3" example: K3ITH_DUNN3. or simply put a lowercase x in front and behind, example: xKEITH_DUNNEx

Sure, but i doubt there is any availability for it, chances are somebody already has it.
