Do you need wi-fi for x-box live?

I want to use video chat do i need x-box live and if i do,do i need wi-fi for x-box live? please help i am going to die if i can't thank you so much!!! P.S can you answer my other question here is the link

You can video chat if you have a camera or something or kinect and yeah you do need xboxlive,you can get xboxlive with a:-

1)Wireless Router

2)Or a broadband connection/Ethernet Cable Connection

3)and lastly dail up connection



You just need to let your internet connetion to share with the xbox360 and wala you are getting connected after getting connected you need to sign up to xboxlive.I Hope this helped.

yes you need xbox live, but you don't need the wifi adaptor. You can use an ethernet cable to connect to your pc / router.
