Unfortunately, the product on the first link will not work, but maybe looking at a site like www.amazon.com where you can compare prices you might be able to get one a little cheaper. Unless you have no qualms about having a wired connection, where a $20 ethernet cable would suffice.

Nobody wants to pay that much, but unfortunately, if you use unauthorised accessories with your Xbox 360, Microsoft have the right to ban your console from accessing Xbox Live.
