How should I have my xbox 360 vertical or horizontal?

My dad tells me to have it horizontal so it doesn't fall but its startin to get really hot while its flat and I dont want it to overheat but an employee at gamecrazy says told me that if its vertical it puts grooves in the disk like a record player and it eventualy breaks the disks which position should I do

horizontal because vertical really does scratch the disks beyond use. overheating shouldn't be a problem if it's a well ventilated area and a little fan can be used to keep it cool

Personally, i would have it horizontally because there is definitely a good chance that if it was vertical and something happened to it, it might fall! and i have my ps3 on horizontally, and it helps the fans breathe! it will help the Xbox 360 breathe! but just do what you think is right!

Horizontal because if it is vertical it always runs the chance of falling over and it does scratch up the game disks. Even if it does get hot don't worry to much unless it hurts to touch it you are fine :)

I personally think that its better vertical because it looks cooler and doesn't overheat as easily.



Also, I doubt that having the xbox 360 vertical will break ur games.

Mine is vertical because



A) Better Ventilation in the space I have mine in



B) It looks way cooler lol.



Plus, if you know how to treat a game console, you don't precauriously perch it where it could fall. Its called Common Sense! lol

Horizontal in every way plus when you have it vertical it causes laser burns on your disc.
