xbox 360 unrecognized disc problem?

Question

ok, i went and bought assassin's creed brotherhood and as soon as i put ACB on, i was asked to update my xbox so i did. I WAS NOT EXPECTING AN UPDATE. so after the update the dashboard and all other stuff changed (your probably aware of this) and i liked it. but when i try and play ACB, the unrecognized disc kept popping out. any help? (same goes for need for speed hot pursuit)

both the games you mention come with a new security check known as ap2.5. This is designed by microsoft to stop peole who use special disc drive software to play pirate copys of games. So if your xbox is "flashed" (if u don't know what flashed is look it up) it won't let you play newer games like the 2 you mentioned. Is this a 2nd hand xbox that you don't know the history of? Or did you know it has been flashed?

Check if your disk has a finger print on the part that gets read. If there is that could be your problem And simply wipe it off. Or something could be wromg with your internals on your system. Other than that. Mine does the same thing except it does it to all discs (games or dvds) and my discs are all clean and it pisses me off i have to pop the disc in and out a few times before it wants to read it.

I had the same problem, all you need to do is clean the disk with warm water. Thats what I did and it worked.
