Can You Play Xbox Games On Xbox 360?

I Have an original xbox, and i REALLY want to play the new fable ll game, but it is only on xbox 360. Can you play xbox games on an xbox 360 because i was debating on changing in my xbox for an xbox 360, and i don't want to without being able to play my other games..

Or... Is Fable ll coming on original xbox? is so when?

fable 2 is not coming out for the original xbox and you cant play all of the old xbox box games on a 360 but you can get the majority. 360's definitely the way to go.

Yes you can play xbox games on the xbox 360. I have no idea what fable II is but i know it can play original xbox games.

Yes: The Xbox 360 is backwards compatible, however it's only BC on certain titles, go to http://www.xbox.com for the list of games playable on the new console. The list does continue to grow with every update Xbox does.



and No: Xbox will NEVER release another Xbox original game again.



They will allow you to download an XBX game on the Xbox 360, but they will never release another NEW XBX game. They're trying to phase out the Xbox original completely.

And no, Microsoft completely dis-continued the original Xbox a few years back. I don't think there's been a new game for it since the ratatouille game was made.

x-box is done producing games and has been since 07.....yes it is backward compatible some games may not work on your 360
