I am going to buy an XBOX 360, and due to lack of money I cant really justify an extra few hundred $ for a new TV, (also space in my small place is an issue) so I decided to try and put it through my PC monitor. I found the Xbox to VGA cable, and this is good so far, however the next step I would like to try is a switch, as my desk doesnt have a lot of room to be repeatedly switching cables around. Also, I dont know whether it is negligible or not, but I dont know whether connector wear and damage could also be an issue after a while of switching it around 3 or 4 times a day? Can anyone suggest a KVM or monitor switch that works well with the XBOX console and the PC (with an ASUS monitor, if it makes any difference?) that also has audio capability (I have a good set of Logitech x540's, which would also add to the list of cables id need to switch)

Anyhoo, thanks in advance, Matt

maximum KVM switches will enable 2 VGA inputs for use on one computer screen, not in straightforward terms keyboard, mouse, and video. The KVM switches in recent times are controlled via the keyboard many times, yet older ones may well be discovered on ebay that have an unquestionably swap which you push one way or the different to decide on the enter. If I comprehend you wisely, the 360 has a VGA cable related to it, splendid? not a DVI cable? and your computing gadget additionally has VGA? i might advise getting a used one off of ebay that has a instruction manual swap, and that should provide help to decide on your source to the computer screen without keyboard being related.
