Question:
Xbox 360 4GB or 250GB?
2011-06-13 13:49:45 UTC
I am doing a bit of research for my uncle who is looking at buying a xbox 360 for my cousin, and I have got a bit stuck on what capacity to go for. I personally have an XBOX 360, but it is an older model and is 160GB. It seems strange to me that they have made a reasonably small 4GB model, and a huge 250GB model, and nothing in-between. I don't think my cousin will will connect it to the Internet, and will not probably have a huge amount of games, so I thought the 4GB model would be enough. I was just wondering on other peoples opinions on what to get. Also, would it be possible to upgrade the memory in the future?

Thanks

For the price difference, Id just get the 250GB...but as long as your uncle isnt on the hook for upgrading the HD, then screw it - buy the 4GB!

If you arent online and arent using it online, then 4GB is more than enough for a few save game files. And, when you get near the limit, you just delete old save game files of games you dont have/play any longer.

Personally, I have the 160GB model as well, and despite a LOT of online and movies and stuff - I still have 86GB of space on it...

yo,

to be honest, the 4gb model would suffice, that is if you cousin will be jamming music and movies onto is hdd, if he will be doing that, then the 250gb console, i've personally got a 4gb console and its sweet as.

there is no current legit way to upgrade your memory for the slim consoles, but youtube upgrading it, there will always be those tech savvy maniacs than can bypass this with older model hdd.

good luck.

I would just get the 250GB. I just bought one and the 4GB is a rip off. Definantly get the 250GB
