my 360 has been acting up. when i put a dvd, audio cd, or original xbox game in my 360, they all start up without fail. when i put my 360 games in the 360, it acts like the discs are dvd's and not 360 games. it displays a message stating "to play this game, insert it into a xbox 360". sometimes after ejecting and inserting my 360 game several times the games will startup (except for halo 3. it never wants to startup.)

so i pose this question. is there a work around to trick the 360 into playing the 360 games consistantly, or am i going to have to send my xbox in for repairs?

btw, i have already tried to remove the hard drive and removed related files to games. any and all feed back is greatly appreciated.

thatll appear if u dvd drive software is not the right one or deleted...... coz when u change ur dvd drive u cant play a game unless u installed the software of ur old dvd drive to the new one..... maybe theres a problem with ur dvd drives software......

BTW it can also hapen if ur not using the right game region..... for ex. ur console is ntsc usa u can only play ntsusa or multi games ^^

i'm having a similar subject on BT abode Hub. about ninety 5% of the time i'll listen the voice contained in the foyer yet then get booted off. do not imagine that its BT as my different on-line video games artwork tremendous. I reported as RockStar video games this morning and the lady I spoke to did not seem to pay interest on the priority an has escalated the priority to point 2 (inspite of meaning) besides, i'm waiting for a reply now so would ought to attend and observe what Rockstar say? nonetheless an outstanding pastime thoughand even as multiplayer works it will be even extra effectual. would should be content fabric with COD4 for my shoot em expereince in the intervening time

18004MYXBOX . This sounds like a common DVD drive failure issue.
