About 2 weeks ago, my copy of Halo Reach stopped being read for some reason. There is only very light scratches with no smudges (Because I cleaned it 2 times with a soft cloth) I'm not sure why my Xbox won't read it, it reads all my other discs just fine. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me. Thanks for your time!

It sounds like the disc has data damage to it which can't get fixxed, try getting it cleaned from gamestation for about £3 which fills the scratches , if that does not work it's data damage

Well i've had this problem before, but its when the disc is already in the xbox and I turn it on. I tried to see if the laser was being blocked and there was a little dust so i blow it off when I turn my xbox on. If it would help try that. If that doesn't work maybe you should contact someone from microsoft and explain the problems, sometimes when the error on the xbox pops-up there is more information about it. Tell them what it says if there is anything. Hope this helps.

Well if the scratches are close to the center of the disc by the ring then it could of damaged by the scratches which are blue ray rings that effect the Eye in the disc drive to read them

You could try a cd buffer. I have had some games and movies not play. I bought a buffer from Radio Shack for about $40 and put it in there for 1 cycle and then put it in the x box and and it read the game again good luck I hope that helps
