i just bought Dragon Age origins from gamestop yesterday night, played a little bit, went to bed, came back from school the next day and tried to play it. but i put the disc in and it said Unrecognized disc. try wiping disc with a cloth and restart console. i did both things numerous times, theres no scratches on the disc, and any other disc plays fine, whats wrong?!!

The Kinect update from Xbox Live on November 1, 2010 caused a large number of Xbox 360 to stop reading discs. Microsoft still hasn't addressed the issue.

There is a very large topic on the issue at the official forums. Simply sign into the forum with your Microsoft Live ID and add your complaint to it...

Install the game on your hard drive. Go to games library when the game is in the console and after clicking on the name of the game, an option to download to your hard drive should be available. That or rent it from blockbuster, switch the discs, and return it saying they gave it to you scratched. Depends on what kind of a person you are lol

There shouldnt be a issue like that. To be user-friendly, xbox is ripping you off. They faux some thing surpassed off via twist of fate. they are quite reliable at those stuff thats why you cant sue them. by way of fact bill gates is a f**king genius!!! And he's a jew. in case you dint have faith me attempt putting a cd on your xbox and shifting the console. that's going to bypass away a turned around scratch on it. I dont have any issues like this on my laptop and ps3. in case you opt to save money greater helpful swap to laptop or ps3

There must be a glitch on the disc, take it back and have it replaced, since it is in neat conditions they would not refuse at all

I've experienced this plenty of times. The first thing I do when I slap a new game into my console is burn it onto the Hardrive so it doesn't cock up.

Give your console some time, try deleting some files...

As long as you have the reciet just take it back. As long as theres no scratches they will take it.
