I recently bought a router a week ago and got xbox live for the 1st time ever but like 3 days ago I started to randomly get disconnected from xbox live during gameplay, I checked my connection on my computer and saw the connection leave and come back, I would be good until I started playing again and it would randomly do that same thing. I don't get it. They only setting I changed on the router was a firmware update and I disabled the guest accessibility. I have a N600 DB Belkin router,
please tell me what I can do to fix the problem. It seems to mainly happen whenever I'm doing really good in a game online (just my luck) and says that I lost whenever I get disconnected.

Try to reset your router. There is a small button in the back click it while it on. After you need to recreate a new password for your wifi. There should stop your problem and if it doesn't then it your service.

What is your nat type? usually that means one of two things. you need to turn your modem and router off for about 5 mins and turn it back on to clear all the static in the line, or you need to open your port for your Nat type. If you need help opening your port use this link.
