I love Xbox (not Microsoft) and I have a 360. I'm on my third one and I got it the first week it came out. When I bought it, I got a harware failure the first few days, had it replaced, got another one which worked fine until just recently, sent that in, got a new one. I think they know there are issues with their system because they are quick to replace them versus fixing it. My warranty is pretty long too. I think it goes to 2008 and I will definitely be extending it if given the option. I think you pay $50 for a year or two. Definitely worth it, they will send you a box in a couple of days, and get it back to you in less than a week. Its a hassle, but they're good about taking care of it. I wouldn't waste my money on any warranty the store tries to offer. Overall, the system is sweet. I'd rather have one over a PS3. Same graphics, whether anyone wants to believe that or not. Blue Ray is overrated too. Better library on xbox right now too.

Get the PS3! PS3 is plenty better than 360! PS3 experts a million. loose internet 2. extra variety of video games and not in elementary terms FPS 3. Blu-Ray participant lined 4. Lasts longer 5. extremely extra low-fee once you upload in each and every of the expenses 6. extra variety of Exclusives which includes Little huge Planet (adventure), MOD Racers (Kart racing), God of war (action adventure), and numerous eastern RPGs! Cons a million. extra human beings have the 360 2. internet can lag now and returned. 360 experts a million. extra and better FPS exclusives 2. internet works o.k. 3. relatively some human beings have the 360 because of the fact it got here out first and human beings stick to and connect what the majority has. Cons a million. Controllers require AA batteries 2. internet is $60 a three hundred and sixty 5 days (does no longer you fairly spend this on a video activity or different upload-ons) 3. prevalent to have a severe failure fee and as quickly as you get the "purple ring" your 360 would not paintings anymore. 4. maximum of better expenses 5. different than taking photographs video games there are no sturdy exclusives!

haven't had one single problem..

sometimes it gets a bit hot. but I am also running it at 1080i resolution. The internal temperature has definitely increased since I upgraded to HD. But honestly though, there is aftermarket cooling fans you can buy for the 360 which help out allot.

as far as the elite is concerned it performs the same as the 360 the only difference is the larger hardrive and HDMI. Which doesn't mean much if you already have an external drive and are already enjoying HD quality gaming...

" on a personal note.. I think the elite is kinda lame, really.. black was last gen.. and white is the new black."

Anything that is mass produced with have some sort of problem. I have a 360 for year and a half now and I did have to mail it in once. However, when I contacted Microsoft, they mailed me a box that was already labeled to mail it in and they fixed it for free. Now I have had no problems with it. I think the 360 is a great product. If and when you get one, get Call of Duty 3 and play. My tagname is:

ive had my now for about 2 years and everythings fine. i think they have worked most of bugs out now and its safe to buy. if it breaks outside the warranty period your screwed though it cost 160 to replace cpu the will prolly burn up. keep you 360 upright give it plenty of chances to cool down. get some of that computer duster and blow out the dust every once in awhile and buy on of those cooling fans you plug on the back and you should be fine

everyone tells me that the the fan in the 360 isnt any good. it always heats up and melts down so ull have to send it in. If your serious about gaming tho, then it should be worth it. just make sure you get a good warranty
