Can someone steal my personal information on Xbox just by getting my IP Address?

So I was playing online and this guy got mad at me for no reason and he said he was going to steal all my personal information by getting my IP Address. I kind of don't believe him but at the same time I'm kind of scared. Can someone help me please

He's scaring you. XBL and your internet provider secures your IP address at all times. If this is really worrying you, contact your ISP and they'll state the same thing. Only action he'll commit is give you a bad reputation (XBl feature).

First of all don't listen to those dumb asses that say stupid **** like that, you can't get it from your IP cuz it just something that can get rest easily, but if he gets your static IP address then yes it could be done, but not to many people know how to do it. People who tell you they are going to do it, most actually don't know how. Why because they would be admitting to committing a federal crime and smart people don't admit to **** like that.

No. Your IP address is basically public information. There really isn't much to be learned from it, especially since your ISP changes your IP semi regularly.
