OK so there is thing called an hdmi cable from microsoft that you can buy for 50 dollars from gamestop or walart and prolly other places as well. i was going to get it, but my mom said it was too much money. i went online and read some reviews. one said that if my 360 has an hdmi port on the back there is no improvement. my 360 has a hdmi port so my question iis will this particular hdmi cable do only a little or a lot better then the hd cable microsoft gave me with the 360

The red blue and green cables are what I use, and when I switch to HDMI, I see NO improvement. I've have switched between both on 2 different TV's.

An HDMI cable could in basic terms have one particular cable - kinda seems a dash like a great firewire cable. It has the sound a video all in a single. it may plug into the HDMI enter on a television. The crimson, Yellow, and White on your television is a composite connection - it extremely is analog. the fairway, blue, and crimson are factor that are a alot greater beneficial - even though it nevertheless isnt HDMI

You don't need to buy the Microsoft branded HDMI cable, any one will be fine. You can get one from amazon.com for 0.50 and it will work just as well. You won't see a big difference in picture quality unless you have a really big 1080p HDTV.

hdmi is only relevant when youre dealing with 1080p resolution. if your tv is only a 720p native resolution, just keep the component cables. there is a difference, but if youre not a hardcore gamer, it doesnt matter that much. hdmi is the way to go if you want the best, and dont go to walmart or especially best buy, go to monoprice.com to get new cables.
