i recently been having this problem for a while now. whenever i turn on my 360 i could here it load and make noise but the screens blank.i just bought a new a/v cable to and it still doesnt work. my friend did something with the controller pressing i think it was the 2 triggers, the back button and the xbox 360 button and it worked for like a day. does anybody know what to press to i think reseting the screen to default? i dont know and can you give me some options on what to do exactly to fix the screen? the warranty expired and i dont want to have to pay more than $100 to fix my 360. i am positive that everything is plugged in right and the tv is on the right video. all i need are ways to reset the screen to default and different kinds of ways to do it!

PLEASE HELP!!! p.s. i use a wireless controller if it helps.

I actually think it might be your TV... I have a TV where the input sockets are a bit dodgy and you have to move around the socket a bit to get it to work.

Also check that the AV plug is pressed all the way into your 360, I've had sound but no picture before when that is the case.

Failing those I think you might have no choice but to call customer support, keep in mind though that they might be able to help you fix it over the phone... so you mightn't have to send it in even if you do call them, but I think you mightn't have any choice if nothing else works and you want your picture back.
