My mom's friend is selling her a brand new Xbox 360 Elite (with Pure and Lego Batman) for $260. But we won't be getting the receipt as well as not knowing what store the bundle was purchased from. Should I just get a Xbox 360 Elite bundle from Gamestop instead? I would get the receipt and a warranty. Would Gamestop have a warranty?

As long as she hasn't registered it yet, it's OK to not have the receipt. After buying it, you can register it on xbox.com and will have the year warranty from Microsoft.
