I was playing Split second demo and i quit the game and come to xbox dashboard and this error pops up (i dont remember everything it said) it said something like some features are unavailable and will be available after something but you are still able to check your profile and stuff. So i quit the error and see i dont have game marketplace, video marketplace etc. i only have my xbox,my friends and something else like when your not signed in.So does my xbox have problems?Xbox live is under maintenance?(on the xbox site it said. Users may experience difficulties with the following services:* Last.fm.Could that be the reason?)What should i do to fix this error?

The Kinect update from Xbox Live on November 1, 2010 caused a large number of Xbox 360 to stop reading official discs and only give an "open tray" message on even non-modded consoles. Microsoft still hasn't fixed the issue. There is also a new January 19, 2011 update that is now also giving people similar problems.

There is a very large topic on the November 2010 update problems at the official forums. But it was recently closed by the moderators...

That's normal, your XBOX has got nothing wrong with it and you need not worry nor do anything. Since the November 2008 update (for the NXE Dashboard, the previous one before the white, blocky one we have now) the XBOX can throw up that error sometimes. It's probably something to do with the servers, but the Marketplace etc will reappear itself when available

it happens sometimes I've been on LIVE for 2 years now

and I get that every once and a while I believe that they are

doing matinace to the system. It'll fix it's self...

The same thing happened to me, I just got Xbox LIVE yesterday, and that same thing came up too. Its because you have lost wi-fi connection, try to restart the console and your router. And try and go back online.
